    Hello,

    I’m opening a new topic to report issues with Qnap Server

    1) Shuffle is not working. The alarm always starts with the same song (which is not the first one in the playlist) and then play in order. This issue is for me very important, as I will get bored to hear the same fews songs each morning

    Modèle: TS-653 Pro
    Firmware Version: 4.3.3.0238
    MusicStation v 5.0.8 (20170925)
    Alarm clock V1.08

    If needed, I can also provide logs for the fort issue.

    Is there any update regarding issue on Qnap ?

    I would like to add more feedback.

    The software is not working very well. I’ve been using it since 3 weeks with 2 alarms, setup on 2 different devices and I’m facing random errors almost every 2-3 days. The music just stops suddenly after 3-10minutes, or even sometimes it fails at the very beginning. In the logs I can only see an “unknown” error

    I’m playing on 2 different devices (1 sonos play 1, and 1 sony SA-NS510). There are working like a charm – I’ve never faced any issues when I playing from Qnap Music player or from twonsky.

    To be frank, if these issues are not solved, I will have to find another solution as until now, Alarmclock is not reliable on qnap and cannot be use to wake me up in the morning (as it fails from time to time).
    It’s very disappointed.

    Hello.

    1) Yes, you are right. Shuffle is not working yet.
    I’ll fix it in nearest version.

    2) What about strange behavior when playing music, please send me log file.
    AlarmClock doesn’t play to any device itself. It only sends commands to MusicStation, what and when to play.
    If you send me logs, I’ll try to understand what the problems are and how to fix them.

    I woudl like to add some feedback on this topic if someone reach this thread

    Cergei made a update version of this software. And this issues are now solved Everything works perfectly. The alarms are starting as they should and I di not face a single issue.

    Just one downside: To stop the alarm, my wife used to switch off the speaker with the power button (a sony SA-NS510 – the spearker goes to stanby mode.) Now the system restart the music after about one minute. I need to stop the music from Qnap Music Station.
    For me, it’s not an issue at all, as I can control Qnap Music Station by voice (through Google Home and some scripting). So it’s just one more step in my “wakeup” script.

    So thanks again. It’s a great product.
